This small and enclosed bay at the entrance of Seno Iceberg created an unbelievable shelter to the strong Northerly winds out in the main channel. In its shallow and vivid turquoise water, it sheltered a pair of Quetru birds, which arrived a moment before sunset and which our presence did not seem to disturb their tucking in for the night. The calm in this bay was so that I was able to rig my silks in the mast for the first time in a while. But for being in such bad physical shape, ten minutes of playing around was enough to exhaust me!

There is a rock on the east side of the bay, which we gently grounded on in our first maneuver, so we then gave preference to the west side on our second attempt and tied to a tree where fishermen had left a line.
